Senior Account Manager, Freight Brokerage

What you'll do

• Prospect and develop shipper relationships through outbound calls, networking, and referrals
• make 150+ outbound calls per day
• maintain a qualified pipeline
• manage the sales cycle through closing
• grow a profitable book of business
• manage customer relationships and freight volume
• oversee shipments from pickup through delivery
• coordinate with carriers and operations
• negotiate customer and carrier rates
• communicate proactively and provide customer service
• monitor market conditions and develop transportation solutions.
