Caregiver

Job overview

The Caregiver role is onsite in Dinwiddie, VA, and pays $15–$16 per hour. The position supports seniors and adults with disabilities receiving in-home care through Right at Home Chesterfield. The role helps clients with daily living and personal care so they can receive practical assistance and companionship at home. Caregivers also support clients’ routines through household tasks, meal preparation, reminders, and accompaniment to errands or appointments.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with transfers and mobility
• perform housekeeping tasks
• prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
• accompany clients on errands or medical appointments
• assist with bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving
• provide medication reminders and prescribed range-of-motion exercises
• provide dementia care and companionship.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED is preferred. CNA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification is preferred; a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance are required.
