This advocate provides trauma-informed, client-centered support to shelter residents and other program clients. The role helps address immediate needs, connect clients with community resources, maintain coordinated care, and support a safe residential environment.

What you'll do

• Provide intake, assessment, case management, crisis intervention, safety planning, court education, information, and referrals as applicable
• maintain an advocacy caseload
• coordinate care with community partners
• help clients set goals and access housing, education, and employment resources
• document cases
• lead supportive and skills-based groups
• help resolve residential conflicts
• maintain confidential records
• support grant reporting, quality assurance, and community outreach.
