The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is an onsite role based in Santa Fe Springs, CA, with an hourly pay range of $28 to $34. This position supports Super Products LLC, an Alamo Group company that manufactures vacuum truck equipment. This role exists to perform service and repair procedures on truck-mounted vacuum equipment. By diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, the mechanic ensures that rental equipment is maintained to high standards and ready for customer use.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Perform scheduled PM inspections of chassis and vacuum body systems.
• Conduct repairs within DOT or OEM standards.
• Complete documentation of work performed.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

Minimum three (3) years, verifiable experience as a mechanic
