Plymouth Housing develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. The director leads operations across a portfolio of supportive housing buildings, coaching site managers and overseeing building performance, compliance, budgets, safety, and resident services. The role coordinates with Facilities, Quality and Integrated Health, Finance, and Safety teams to support safe operations, resident stability, and the organization’s mission.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily operations across assigned buildings
• supervise and coach Site Operations Managers and an Assistant Portfolio Manager
• monitor occupancy, rent collection, unit turns, and inspection readiness
• ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, landlord-tenant law, funder requirements, and organizational policies
• partner with QIH on complex resident concerns
• oversee budgeting and portfolio financial management
• lead safety oversight, crisis response, and emergency preparedness
• guide grievance processes
• support staffing transitions
• participate in inspections, capital-project planning, and departmental initiatives.
