Resource Specialist, Family Services

Job overview

The Resource Specialist role is onsite in Las Vegas, NV, at Palomino Family Services, with compensation of $18 per hour. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position. The role helps homeless and at-risk clients and families find and maintain housing, connecting them with community resources and supporting successful placements. It also serves as a housing resource for case managers and maintains client referral and service records.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with housing searches, unit visits, landlord advocacy, and paperwork
• provide tenancy support and referrals
• research housing options and build landlord relationships
• mediate post-placement conflicts
• maintain client databases, referrals, and reports
• enter data into HMIS and WellSky
• attend team meetings, training, and weekly Food Pantry Distribution.
