Senior Cloud Engineer – Ransomware Protection (Azure) – Remote

Job overview

The Senior Cloud Engineer – Ransomware Protection (Azure) role is fully remote. Compensation is $60 to $70 per hour. The engineer supports the Azure Ransomware Protection Landing Zone within the Cloud Center of Excellence. The role implements and validates backup and recovery capabilities so enterprise applications can protect and restore data securely. Working under architectural guidance with cloud, security, and platform teams, the engineer supports operations and continuous improvement of the platform.

What you'll do

• Implement and configure backup and restore solutions for Azure virtual machines, Blob Storage, and App Services
• support logical air-gapped backup designs
• conduct backup, restore, and ransomware recovery testing
• help onboard enterprise applications to the Azure backup landing zone
• maintain runbooks and operational documentation
• support daily operations and platform improvement.
