The Electrical Engineer, Industrial/EPC role is onsite in Houston, TX, with compensation of $55–$80 per hour. Nesco Resource is seeking an engineer to support a large-scale industrial engineering and capital project. The role develops and reviews electrical engineering deliverables and coordinates with project disciplines to support industrial project design through construction, startup, and commissioning. It contributes to safe, code-compliant electrical systems and project delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop and review electrical deliverables, single-line diagrams, power distribution systems, equipment layouts, and design packages
• perform load flow, voltage drop, short-circuit, protective-device coordination, cable, wire, and conduit calculations
• design low- and medium-voltage systems
• prepare equipment specifications and data sheets
• review vendor documentation
• coordinate with project disciplines
• support procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning
• ensure compliance with NEC, codes, specifications, and standards.
