IT Support Technician (Help Desk)

IT Support Technician (Help Desk) is an onsite role in New Orleans, LA. Compensation is $24–$28 per hour. The technician supports employees across production, engineering, and administration at Vivace, an aerospace and defense engineering and manufacturing company. The role provides first-line technical support and endpoint management across shifts, helping maintain reliable user and shop-floor technology. It also supports security and compliance requirements and helps reduce production and engineering downtime caused by IT issues.

What you'll do

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, accounts, shop-floor terminals, printing, and connectivity
• image, deploy, patch, and manage endpoint lifecycles
• support shop-floor data-collection devices and terminals
• assist with approved user account and access requests
• follow CMMC Level 2 and ITAR security policies, device compliance, removable-media rules, and incident reporting.
