Building Maintenance Technician 2

Job overview

The Building Maintenance Technician 2 role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, supporting an 81-unit independent-living high-rise for seniors and people with disabilities. Pay is $24–$26 per hour. Arbors Management maintains the building and its resident services. The technician keeps the property safe and functional by responding to resident work orders and performing building, grounds, and custodial maintenance. The role covers plumbing, electrical work, basic HVAC, and coordination with suppliers and outside contractors, with rotating after-hours and weekend on-call coverage.

What you'll do

• Handle resident work orders promptly
• perform plumbing repairs and intermediate electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• complete basic HVAC tasks, including PTAC replacement, filter cleaning, and thermostat work
• maintain grounds through grass cutting, snow removal, and debris cleanup
• clean common areas and remove trash
• order supplies and work with outside contractors as needed.

Why this role
