Home Health Aide

Job overview

The Home Health Aide works onsite in patients' homes in Salem, MA. Pay is $15–$18 per hour. The role provides one-on-one care under patient care plans and supports Neighborhood Home Care's patients through personalized assistance and relationship-building.

What you'll do

• Assist patients with daily activities, including moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• change bed linens, do laundry, clean homes, and assist with personal care
• maintain records of care, condition, progress, or problems and report observations to a supervisor
• converse with or read aloud to patients
• give medications and immunizations
• and engage patients in exercises or other activities. Requires graduation from an accredited Home Health Aide program, a high school diploma or GED, one year of prior professional experience, a driver's license, and CPR certification.
