The director sets operational standards, systems, training, and culture for Guest Relations, and works across departments to strengthen the visitor experience. The role also supports the Museum’s strategic objectives through leadership, data-informed planning, and collaboration.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise Guest Relations Managers
• develop operational procedures and manage the Guest Relations budget
• develop guest policies and experience enhancements
• oversee hiring, onboarding, and training standards
• improve reservations and group check-in
• deliver customer-service training with People & Culture
• analyze and share attendance data
• support membership goals
• collaborate across departments
• set annual goals with the Vice President for Guest Experiences
• maintain member and reservation data policies
• participate in safety and emergency coordination activities.
