What you'll do
- Lead foster parent recruitment
- develop partnerships with DSS offices, mental health providers, and community organizations
- facilitate pre-service training using the Teaching-Family Model
- guide families through licensing requirements
- conduct in-home visits and assess readiness
- review licensing documentation
- match youth with appropriate foster homes
- participate in staffing and clinical discussions
- facilitate monthly training sessions and support groups.
