The Production Operator role is an onsite position at the Vermont Cider Company facility in Middlebury, VT. Pay is $18–$24 per hour, with shift differentials applying to second and third shifts. Vermont Cider Company produces Woodchuck Hard Cider and Wyder’s Cider and is part of Green Mountain Beverage’s beverage manufacturing operations. The operator supports beverage packaging and production lines, helping meet safety, quality, food-safety, and production goals. The work includes operating equipment, checking products, documenting production, and coordinating with production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor packaging and production equipment
• perform quality checks on products, labels, packaging, fill levels, and pallet patterns
• support line changeovers, startups, material staging, and line readiness
• complete production, quality, and traceability documentation
• report equipment, quality, and production issues
• maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment
• collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams.

Openings across all shifts: first shift Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; second shift Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.; third shift Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Shift differentials apply to second and third shifts.
