The Retail Merchandise Coordinator is an onsite, full-time position based in Farmingdale, NY, with a pay range of $18.00 to $18.50 per hour. This role supports the HomeGoods retail team by executing receiving and merchandising standards. The role exists to ensure efficient processing of merchandise and to maintain a clean, organized store. It contributes to the team by training and mentoring associates, monitoring productivity, and ensuring compliance with store plans and safety programs.

What you'll do

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards
• Ensures Associates are processing efficiently
• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity
• Orchestrates truck delivery
• Trains and mentors Associates
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty
• Ensures Associates complete tasks according to store plan
• Monitors productivity of team
• Organizes and rotates back stock
• Maintains merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Maintains organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom
• Ensures compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals
• Promotes safety awareness.
