What you'll do

• Obtain patient vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit
• prepare patients for exams
• explain prescribed procedures and treatments
• perform ordered tests and laboratory quality controls
• administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved procedures
• draw blood and prepare laboratory samples
• perform drug screenings
• document immunizations
• make referrals and pre-certifications as needed
• prepare and sterilize exam rooms and instruments
• and maintain accurate documentation.
