What you'll do
- Serves as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods.
- Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
- Delivers age-appropriate care related to physical and psychological needs.
- Follows infection prevention and control policies.
- Provides assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, obtaining vital signs.
- Assists with transferring, repositioning, and walking.
- Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining.
- Documents resident interactions and care.
- Communicates resident's changing condition to charge nurse.
- Collects non-invasive specimens and gathers vital signs.
- Provides housekeeping and laundry services.
- Assists with wellness and recreational programs.
What we're looking for
- Education
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Experience
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
