The Restaurant Server role is onsite in Blowing Rock, NC. Compensation is not specified. Haven is a new chef-driven restaurant backed by the support and resources of Chetola Resort, with an Appalachian-inspired menu featuring small plates and a tasting-menu experience. As a founding front-of-house team member, the server helps establish service standards and create thoughtful guest experiences from the restaurant's opening. The role guides guests through the menu, coordinates with culinary and beverage colleagues, and contributes feedback as service systems and culture develop.

What you'll do

• Create warm guest experiences from arrival through departure
• guide guests through small plates and tasting menus
• learn menu ingredients, sourcing, preparation, and dish stories
• explain ingredients and techniques
• recommend items based on guest preferences and dietary needs
• build knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings
• coordinate with culinary, bar, host, and support teams
• monitor pacing and table needs
• maintain clean, organized service areas
• participate in pre-opening training, tastings, mock services, and ongoing education
• uphold food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Why this role

Previous full-service restaurant serving experience is sought. Fine dining, tasting menu, farm-to-table, wine-focused, or chef-driven experience is a plus but not required.
