The Front-of-House Shift Leader role is onsite in Pompano Beach, FL. Pay is $17 per hour. Pura Vida Miami’s mission is to offer wholesome food and beverages with an intimate, fast, and consistent customer experience. The shift leader guides front-of-house team members and supports store operations to deliver friendly, efficient service in a clean environment. The role also helps maintain food-safety standards, organize and supervise shifts, train staff, and assist the General Manager with store procedures and team matters.

What you'll do

• Lead by example and communicate with the team
• deliver customer service and address complaints
• guide team members in providing swift, friendly service
• ensure compliance with food-safety and sanitation requirements
• assist the General Manager in maintaining store procedures and policies
• cover shifts and support stations
• organize, schedule, and supervise shifts
• assist with attendance and time-off monitoring
• assign duties
• supervise and assist employees
• conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
• train team members
• follow company policies and health, safety, and employment standards.

Why this role

Requires at least one year of customer-service experience and one year of hospitality management experience. High school diploma or GED required; Food Handler certification required where locally mandated. Must be flexible to work closing shifts and weekends.
