SIM Triage Operator

The SIM Triage Operator role is onsite in Palo Alto, CA; compensation is not specified. The position supports a client’s autonomous vehicle issue triage across on-road and simulation environments. The role exists to identify, investigate, categorize, and route system issues so teams can reproduce and resolve behavior, improve regression testing, and strengthen test coverage. It also supports consistent triage workflows through technical tools, scripting, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Analyze simulation and on-road logs, sensor outputs, metadata, and video to identify, categorize, and route issues
• correlate on-road issues with simulation scenarios
• investigate potential root causes using established standards
• document and track issues with dashboards, replay tools, log viewers, and triage platforms
• develop scripts for log queries, data extraction, batch tagging, and workflow automation
• maintain triage dashboards, filters, queries, documentation, and operational workflows.
