The Commercial Contracts Counsel role is onsite in Streetsboro, OH. Compensation is $130,000–$180,000 per year. The role supports LayerZero Power Systems’ commercial contracting activities for power distribution solutions serving critical industries. Reporting to the CFO, counsel drafts, reviews, negotiates, and administers commercial agreements while advising business partners on contractual and operational risks. The role also improves contracting processes and helps the company support transactions efficiently while protecting its interests.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage customer, supplier, channel partner, confidentiality, technology, consulting, and related agreements
• partner with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and executive management
• identify risks and recommend practical solutions
• advise on key commercial provisions
• maintain templates, clause libraries, and negotiation playbooks
• improve contract intake, review, approval, execution, renewal, and recordkeeping
• track obligations and renewal dates.
