Network Optimization Manager

The Network Optimization Manager is an onsite role in Houston, TX, with up to 25% domestic travel. Compensation is $115,000–$125,000 per year. This new role at 48forty brings supply, pricing, and freight data together to support decisions across the company’s operating network. The manager builds and maintains network models, evaluates strategic alternatives, and leads initiatives to improve cost, service, resiliency, asset productivity, and capital efficiency. The role translates quantitative analysis into recommendations and plans in partnership with operations, supply chain, logistics, finance, and commercial teams.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain a network optimization model integrating used pallet supply, pricing, and freight across US and Canadian operating locations
• develop supply chain strategies with operations and commercial leaders
• lead initiatives to improve cost, service, resiliency, asset productivity, and capital efficiency
• maintain account scoring and network models
• perform scenario, sensitivity, and capacity analyses
• validate model assumptions and outputs
• lead project plans and stakeholder engagement
• develop business cases and financial analyses
• present actionable recommendations
• establish modeling standards and governance.
