The Project Manager, Ubuntu Embedded Systems role is remote in the Americas and/or EMEA; compensation is not specified. The role supports Canonical’s Devices business, coordinating customer-facing engineering projects that deliver Ubuntu images to devices. This position manages project delivery from planning through completion, aligning Canonical engineering teams, customers, and external partners on scope, schedules, risks, and outcomes. It helps ensure engineering services and device projects meet agreed goals and delivery expectations.

What you'll do

• Coordinate complex customer-facing projects through their full life cycle
• manage schedules, scope, risks, and third-party deliverables
• liaise with customers and engineering teams
• support statements of work
• drive technical issues toward delivery
• communicate project status
• identify out-of-contract engineering requests
• and recommend Canonical technologies. Non-traditional hours may be needed, and travel up to four times yearly for internal events is stated.
