Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager role is onsite in Conway, SC. Compensation is $14–$16 per hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid after six months in the position. The role supports the Store Manager in operating a convenience store. The assistant manager helps lead staff, serve customers, maintain inventory and merchandising, and keep store operations covered across shifts. The position also handles cash and deposits, supports staffing and scheduling, and steps in as acting manager when the Store Manager is away.

What you'll do

• Support day-to-day store operations
• run the register and assist customers
• coach team members on upselling products and promotions
• help hire, train, and lead staff
• act as manager when the Store Manager is off
• manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• maintain store and fuel-pump cleanliness
• create team schedules
• handle cash, deposits, and store financials.
