What you'll do

• Provide tutoring, re-teaching, and mentoring for credit recovery students
• plan and deliver lessons aligned with state and school curriculum standards
• develop lesson plans and use instructional feedback
• collaborate with special education staff on accommodations and modifications
• maintain confidential student records and required documentation
• monitor attendance
• communicate with parents about student performance
• participate in school teams and ongoing professional development.

Why this role

Requires state teacher licensure or certification with appropriate endorsements and a bachelor’s degree with relevant subject-area emphasis or qualifications. Non-certified applicants with a subject-area degree may be considered if they complete a plan to become highly qualified. Must be able to work with PLATO online credit recovery software and be available 3–5 days per week for at least four hours per week.
