What you'll do

• Receive completed orders from picking, packing, and other departments
• verify customer orders, item quantities, and carton counts
• identify missing, incorrect, or damaged goods
• repackage or reinforce cartons as needed
• prepare shipping labels and documents
• enter or verify information in shipping or inventory systems
• sort orders by carrier, destination, route, or pickup
• move packages to staging or loading areas and assist with loading or unloading when needed
• maintain accurate outbound counts
• report discrepancies
• keep the shipping area organized, clean, and safe.
