Service Assistant — Truck Service Department

Job overview

The Service Assistant role is onsite in Kahoka, MO, and pays $21–$26 per hour. M&K Truck Centers is expanding and seeks support for its Service Department. The assistant helps technicians with basic repairs and maintenance, supports DOT inspections, and keeps vehicles and work areas clean and organized. This work helps the service operation function efficiently and supports related parts, sales, and facilities teams.

What you'll do

• Assist with service repairs and maintenance
• perform basic truck repairs, preventive maintenance, and DOT inspections with minimal supervision
• fuel vehicles
• power wash, detail, and clean trucks and equipment
• provide utility assistance to Service, Parts, Sales, and Facilities
• use hand and power tools and shop equipment
• use CDK, ASIST, and other software for operations and documentation
• maintain a clean, safe, organized shop.
