Direct Support Staff

Compensation is $24–$25 per hour. The Direct Support Staff role is onsite in Bellevue, WA, Monday–Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Bridge of Promise provides recreational, educational, and social programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Staff provide individualized support so participants can take part in program and community activities in a safe, welcoming environment. The role includes assistance with daily living, transportation procedures, activity facilitation, and maintaining program spaces.

What you'll do

• Support participants in program activities
• assist with mobility, feeding, toileting, and other daily living needs
• use positive behavior support techniques
• prepare for community outings
• assist with transportation and mobility equipment
• develop and lead one structured small-group activity weekly under the Program Manager’s direction
• help plan and facilitate other activities
• maintain clean and organized program spaces.
