Job overview

Registered Behavior Technician is an onsite, full-time role based in Jacksonville, FL, with work in homes, communities, and/or schools and travel to different locations. Pay is $18–$24 per hour. The technician supports children with special needs and works with families and supervisors. The role implements skill-acquisition programs developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, tracks behavior data, and follows treatment plans. It contributes to care by documenting sessions, using communication supports as applicable, and maintaining the required credential and confidentiality standards.

What you'll do

  • Work one-to-one with children with special needs in homes, communities, and/or schools
  • run skill-acquisition programs developed by the BCBA
  • observe and track behaviors using data-collection methods
  • learn and implement PECS and/or assistive technology
  • intervene with problem behavior according to the treatment plan
  • write session notes
  • attend company and team meetings and trainings
  • travel to different locations
  • maintain RBT credential requirements and HIPAA confidentiality
  • maintain reliable transportation.
