Director, Strategy and Business Development

The Director, Strategy and Business Development works onsite in Golden, CO. Compensation is $175,000–$200,000 per year. Rendezvous Robotics is developing electromagnetic self-assembling spacecraft tiles to enable larger, more capable spacecraft. The director leads customer engagement and business development pursuits across government, civil-space, and commercial markets. The role builds the pipeline, shapes opportunities, and brings customer and market requirements into product strategy while supporting revenue planning.

What you'll do

• Lead customer engagement and capture strategy from qualification through proposal and award
• manage the business development pipeline across defense, intelligence, civil-space, and commercial customers
• shape opportunities through briefings, white papers, RFI responses, and MOUs
• negotiate partnerships and teaming agreements
• represent the company at customer meetings and industry events
• track market and competitor intelligence
• work with engineering on product strategy
• maintain pipeline reporting and support forecasting and investor updates
• travel approximately 30%.
