What you'll do

• Guide protocol architecture and lead design of major systems
• mentor engineers and establish reusable patterns
• contribute to the team roadmap and communicate technical decisions
• implement Z-Wave, Matter, PowerG, and ZigBee capabilities, including negotiation and backward compatibility
• build gateway and cloud translation services
• guide protocol data models and storage
• and work with Operations on deployments, on-call rotations, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
