What you'll do

• Assess patients and therapy needs
• collaborate with healthcare team members on care planning
• verify orders and administer aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, volume expansion, oxygen, and medical gas therapy
• manage ventilators and airways
• perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis
• educate patients and precept employees and students
• promote patient safety, evidence-based practice, and performance improvement.
