OB Hospitalist Physician

The OB Hospitalist Physician role is onsite in Fredericksburg, VA. Compensation is not specified. The physician is part of an OB Hospitalist clinical team delivering an OB Hospitalist program at the assigned hospital site. The physician provides obstetrical and gynecological care, including direct care for high-risk patients, and supports safe outcomes on Labor and Delivery. The role also assists community physicians and midwives when requested and safely available, and participates in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds.

What you'll do

• Provide obstetrical and gynecological care, including contraceptive services at hospitals that offer them
• deliver direct care to high-risk patients, with Maternal Fetal Medicine support available by telephone or video consultation where applicable
• participate in daily Labor and Delivery board rounds
• serve as Labor and Delivery Safety Officer
• provide clinical assistance and practice coverage to community physicians and midwives when requested and safely available.
