The Medical Assistant — Float, West Valley Pediatrics (Spanish Required) works onsite in West Valley City, UT, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pay is $20 per hour. The role supports providers and clinical staff at Granger Medical Clinic’s West Valley Pediatrics Clinic. The Medical Assistant helps the clinic run smoothly and supports patient care by assisting providers, communicating with parents and guardians, documenting patient information, and completing clinical and administrative tasks. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is required for this position.

What you'll do

• Conduct telephone triage and communicate with parents or guardians
• manage insurance authorizations and prior approvals
• record vital signs
• administer immunizations
• perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
• prepare and maintain exam rooms
• document patient information
• provide customer service and communicate with the clinical team.
