What you'll do

• Measure and compare work to specifications
• perform shop calculations
• use shop equipment and hand tools
• fit and lay out steel
• position and secure workpieces
• inspect products and equipment for defects or malfunctions
• sand and grind
• break out steel
• assemble steel panels using bolt-together construction
• handle materials and operate a forklift.

Why this role
