Job overview

The Registered Dietitian role is onsite in Delano, CA. Compensation is $90,000–$120,000 per year. The position leads the Food Services Department at Sweetwater Care. The dietitian plans and directs department operations, programs, and activities, reviews policies and procedures, and inspects dietary service areas. The role supports daily delivery of quality nutritional services while maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary operations.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, develop, implement, evaluate, and direct the Food Services Department and its programs
• review department policies, procedures, and job descriptions at least annually and recommend revisions
• develop plans of correction for food-service deficiencies identified in surveys
• assist the Quality Assessment and Assurance Committee with corrective action plans
• inspect dietary service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and performance.
