The Staff Attorney role is onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is $123,000–$150,000 per year. The attorney reports to a Managing Senior Staff Attorney in Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Litigation and Law department, which provides legal advice and conducts litigation to protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care. The attorney supports and conducts significant litigation and advises PPFA and affiliates on legal issues involving legislation, regulation, and activities affecting their work. The role collaborates with internal teams, affiliate staff, coalition partners, and outside counsel to support legal strategy and access to care.

What you'll do

• Conduct or support litigation in state and federal courts
• advise on pending legislation, regulatory matters, and related policy issues
• coordinate litigation and related strategies with internal and external partners
• work with policy attorneys and operational and clinical personnel
• support the development of interns and paralegals
• contribute to work centering communities affected by laws restricting sexual and reproductive health and rights.
