Field Roof Inspector

The Field Roof Inspector role is onsite in Boston, MA, with pay of $32–$40 per hour. Hancock Claims Consultants provides ladder-assist and property inspection services to insurance agencies, supporting claims management and property assessments. The inspector assesses roofs and property damage, including steep and high roofs, and performs underwriting property inspections. Accurate field observations help insurers evaluate claims and identify damage that may need attention before permanent repairs.

What you'll do

• Safely navigate and inspect roofs, including steep and high roofs
• assess exterior and interior damage
• perform underwriting property inspections
• complete inspections in varied weather conditions
• use a reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 32-foot ladder and a Lidar-equipped device or obtain one
• use MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams.
