What you'll do

• Provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients.
• Performs malnutrition assessments, nutrition-focused physical exams, and diet educations.
• Provides nutrition support recommendations.
• Consults with and/or makes recommendations to physicians and other allied health professionals.
• Formulates nutrition assessment, evaluation, and follow-up plans.
• Participates in clinical rounds and department meetings.
• Consults in/outpatients in diet rationale for self-management.
• Must be flexible to cross-cover and train in all areas.
• Provides staff relief and cross-coverage.
• Reviews annual literature and presents to peers.
• Performs professional presentations.
• Attends pertinent meetings.
• Maintains current credentials and licensure.
• Holds current membership to professional organizations.
• Participates in licensing surveys.
• Assumes other duties and responsibilities.

What we're looking for

Education

Bachelor's degree B.S with a major in Food & Nutrition Science from an accredited college or university and the completion of an accredited dietetic internship (RDE will be considered) required and Master's degree Master's degree from an accredited college or university if completed after Jan 1 2024. required

Experience

1-2 years One year of general clinical nutrition experience preferred (RDE will be considered).
