The Registered Dental Assistant works onsite in Bakersfield, CA. Compensation is $26–$30.50 per hour. Clinica Sierra Vista is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving agricultural workers and people in urban, rural, and isolated communities, including families with varied incomes and cultural backgrounds. Under the direct supervision of a dentist, the assistant supports chairside procedures, patient preparation, radiography, infection control, and sterilization. The role also helps with reception tasks as needed and contributes to patient care at the Comprehensive Care Center.

What you'll do

• Assist the dentist with chairside procedures
• seat and prepare patients and treatment rooms
• ensure treatment and visit information is recorded
• operate dental radiography equipment
• apply topical agents and remove dressings
• answer calls and assist incoming patients when filling in as Dental Receptionist
• follow infection-control and sterilization protocols.
