What you'll do

• Check incoming waste for unacceptable materials
• record waste volumes and types
• perform physical labor
• accept disposal fees and record receipts
• direct traffic
• operate a telephone, computer, and two-way radio
• sort and bale materials at the Recycling Center
• pick up litter and maintain facilities
• assist customers with disposal and recycling
• visit rural container sites to educate the public and enforce disposal policies
• assist drivers as necessary.
