The Inmate Transport Officer works onsite in Milwaukee, WI, on a weekday daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM. Pay is $28.00 per hour. The role supports government inmate transportation operations for Allied Universal. The officer helps maintain a controlled environment through security procedures, vehicle operations, patrols, inspections, and clear communication. The role contributes to client safety and service through calm incident response and attentive monitoring.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies
• respond calmly to incidents and critical situations
• conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter
• support government inmate transportation operations through driving, monitoring, vehicle operations, routine inspections, and communication.

Why this role

Requires a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, a Corrections Officer License, age 21 or older, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required; a firearms permit is preferred.
