The Direct Support Professional — Day Program role is onsite in Gilbert, AZ. Pay is $15.15–$16 per hour. Embrace Life Services’ day program supports individuals with developmental disabilities through care, activities, and community involvement. The professional provides person-centered support that promotes participants’ safety, independence, dignity, and personal goals. The role includes personal care assistance, activity facilitation, documentation, health and safety support, and community outings. The program operates Monday through Friday and is closed on federal holidays.

What you'll do

• Build supportive relationships with members
• assist with personal care, communication, and social interactions
• plan and lead activities with the Day Program Supervisor
• maintain attendance and progress records and complete required reports
• follow safety protocols and healthcare plans, including medication administration as directed
• implement individualized care plans and behavior support strategies
• accompany members on community outings
• communicate with families, colleagues, and partners
• participate in training.
