The Wastewater Operator Trainee role is onsite in Haines City, FL, with compensation of $16.11–$23.34 per hour. The position supports the City of Haines City Wastewater Division under the Wastewater Superintendent. The trainee assists with wastewater treatment operations, testing, system monitoring, records, and plant maintenance while completing training and licensing requirements for a Florida Class C Wastewater Plant Operator license within 12–18 months.

What you'll do

• Assist with laboratory tests, sample analysis, equipment testing, system flow and treatment monitoring, and daily reports. Help maintain and clean the plant, equipment, grounds, and laboratory
• may assist with pump and motor maintenance or repair. Attend required training and work toward the Florida Class C Wastewater Plant Operator license within 12–18 months.
