What you'll do

• Read menus and estimate food requirements
• retrieve food from storage
• prepare and cook foods according to recipes and company standards
• use kitchen equipment to prepare menu items
• check food for proper doneness
• portion and garnish food
• maintain sanitation and orderliness
• coordinate with food service employees to reduce waste
• replenish food and service-line items
• prepare items for the next day’s meals.
