Plant Controller — Strategic Finance and Operations

The Plant Controller — Strategic Finance and Operations role is onsite in Mobile, AL, with pay of $140,000–$170,000 per year. The position is for a manufacturing client represented by Augmentis; the selected candidate will be employed directly by the client. The controller serves on the site leadership team and partners with plant operations. The role owns site accounting, controls, planning, and analysis while helping leaders improve performance and make informed capital decisions. It connects financial and operational results through forecasting, reporting, cost controls, compliance, and development of the site finance team.

What you'll do

• Lead site and business-unit forecasting, budgeting, planning, reporting, consolidation, and analysis
• communicate financial and operational performance drivers
• develop business cases and track capital expenditure results
• design and monitor internal controls
• ensure US GAAP and corporate reporting compliance
• strengthen cost control and product costing
• lead and develop the site finance team
• support continuous improvement.
