Highway Maintenance Technician

What you'll do

• Set up and remove traffic control devices
• perform pothole patching, striping, reflector installation, and concrete or asphalt work
• remove litter and debris
• repair drainage systems, slopes, berms, and culverts
• control vegetation
• maintain signs, guardrails, fences, and lighting
• work at heights
• transport crew and equipment
• perform preventive maintenance and minor vehicle repairs
• and participate in emergency response rotations, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.
