Provider Network Account Executive

Job overview

The Provider Network Account Executive role is remote, with onsite meetings in Washington, DC every other Wednesday; compensation is $30–$35 per hour. The six-month contract may be extended, and the position is not eligible for benefits. The role supports a health plan’s provider network. The account executive builds and maintains provider relationships, monitors network access and performance, and helps providers address operational and quality issues. The role also supports provider education, credentialing, reporting, and initiatives to improve provider performance and member access.

What you'll do

• Manage complex provider accounts
• maintain provider relationships and understanding of contracts and performance
• identify and solicit qualified providers
• monitor network access and provider metrics
• develop and implement provider improvement plans
• support corrective actions, credentialing, re-credentialing, and quality investigations
• maintain provider database information
• prepare activity and metric reports
• develop provider education programs and materials
• train and mentor new network executives.
