Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief

The Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief role is onsite and field-based in Peoria, AZ. Compensation is $20–$27 per hour, with overtime potential noted. ServiceMaster Restore provides water, fire, and smoke damage restoration services to homes and businesses. The crew chief leads mitigation projects and technicians to deliver compliant, high-quality restoration work. The role coordinates jobsite activity, drying and remediation decisions, quality checks, documentation, and customer communication to support recovery after property damage.

What you'll do

• Lead water-damage restoration, fire and smoke mitigation, and related remediation projects
• direct technicians and subcontractors at jobsites
• perform and verify moisture inspections, mapping, and psychrometric calculations
• coordinate drying, cleaning, containment, and deodorization strategies
• set up and monitor drying and filtration equipment
• oversee controlled demolition
• enforce PPE and contamination controls
• inspect work for IICRC and company-standard compliance
• document readings, equipment, progress, and photos
• communicate with customers and adjusters
• train and mentor technicians.
