The Speech-Language Pathologist role is onsite in Cherokee, IA, with compensation of $36–$50 per hour. Blue Stone Therapy provides rehabilitation services to skilled nursing and senior living communities across the Midwest, supporting meaningful patient outcomes. The role evaluates and treats adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting. It develops and implements individualized care plans for swallowing, cognitive-communication, voice, speech, and language needs, contributing to functional, measurable outcomes.

What you'll do

• Conduct speech therapy evaluations
• develop individualized plans of care
• provide skilled services addressing dysphagia, swallowing disorders, cognitive deficits, communication disorders, and voice impairments
• participate in discharge planning and maintenance programs
• supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants where applicable
• maintain patient schedules
• complete timely, accurate documentation
• collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff.
